This Halloween season, make your date one to remember by taking advantage of all the haunted attractions Pennsylvania has to offer. Every year horror fanatics flock to places like Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, Pennhurst Asylum in Spring City, and Field of Scream in Mountville to get the fright of their lives. A date like this is an exciting and interesting way to get close with your date and break the ice. Learn how they handle themselves when faced with strobe lights, fog, and fake blood. There are a variety of ways to get spooked this Halloween, so instead of watching scary movies, put yourself in the horror movie and visit a haunted attraction today! – Logan
Honestly, a nice trip to a pumpkin patch never hurt anyone so you can definitely take your autumnal cutie to one! If you want something fairly local, I would recommend Seiple Farms in Bath; there are tons of pumpkins, gourds, and more to choose from, a haunted barn (fun boos and moos!), and even a straw maze! If you want to go farther out, there’s also Savidge Farms in Mertztown; it has horse-drawn carriage rides, hay rides, a corn maze, and even a mini golf course! – Fatimah
Looking for a romantic night? Head on over to the Drive-In theatre! Cozy up with some blankets, bring your own food, or visit the concession stand and share some nachos with the one you love! During October, Shankweilers, America’s Oldest Drive-In, has a series of Halloween-themed movies, including a showing of Halloween (1978) on Halloween, a perfect film in the perfect atmosphere! – Liz
If you’re anything like me, you hate being scared. The apple orchard is a great way to spend Halloween without all the horror. There are plenty of activities at these orchards such as apple canons, yummy foods, and sometimes even other gardens to pick fruits and vegetables from. These are my favorite dates to go on for Halloween and fall! – Lola
