The Moravian Dean’s List is typically released following each semester, approximately a month after the semester ends, and usually before the next semester begins.
However, students this semester have noted a delayed release of the Dean’s List; two weeks into the Spring semester, students still do not have access to the Fall ‘25 list.
According to an email from Moravian’s interim Provost James Scifers, the delay is the result of recent staffing changes within the Registrar’s Office, as well as the individual in the Office of the Provost who oversees the Dean’s List process being on parental leave until early January. Scifers stated that the University expects the Fall 2025 Dean’s List to be published within the next one to two weeks (as of Jan. 26).
The Registrar’s Office currently includes Institutional Registrar Nathan Pesavento, Associate Registrar Teresa Benneian, Assistant Registrar Megan Noble, Office Coordinator Marcy Coe, Records Management Assistant Stephanie Ashton, and Transfer Credit and Articulation Analyst Stacey Berger.
Scifers thanked students for their patience and emphasized that the list is forthcoming. Until then, students remain without official confirmation of an academic honor they many rely on for both personal recognition and professional advancement.
